Calvary Baptist Church is a Christ-centered church, birthed by Jesus’ death and empowered by his Holy Spirit. We love Jesus, love the Bible, and are excited about what He is doing in Colquitt County and in our world. We exist to bring the good news to all those in our path, displaying the transformed lives of each member as they speak of Jesus in the everyday stuff of life. Our Vision
In a world where churches look more and more like community social clubs, we sought to answer the question, “what about the things we do make us different from all these clubs?”
As a church we seek to be explicitly Christian:
- We are members of Christ’s family, living for a Kingdom we can’t see.
- We are servants for Christ’s sake, showing hospitality and giving sacrificially to all people.
- We are witnesses till Christ’s return, sharing the Good News here and abroad in a compelling way.
